Profit Recession?

Corporate earnings have in the S&P 500 have fallen by 3.5% in the last 2 quarters. Its clearly a slowing down on growth. A consensus estimate for 12-month S&P 500 earnings per share of $210, down from the current $232, is a level which would reflect an economic slowdown. The worse has yet to come.
